The hoist rope guide consists of a rope guide nut, a rope guide plate and a connecting steel belt. The steel wire rope extends from the long groove of the rope guide plate, the rope nut engages with the rope groove of the drum, and the drum rotates to drive the rope nut to move laterally, so as to ensure that the wire rope is not buckled in the rope groove of the drum. The rope guide plate moves laterally to both ends of the drum. When reaching the limit position, it drives the limit rods installed on the drum shell to move together, and when the limit position is reached, the limit switch installed on the lifting motor is activated to limit the position.

The drum winds the steel wire rope in the lifting mechanism, transmits power, and transforms the rotary motion into linear motion. Spiral grooves are usually cut on the surface of the drum, and the helix angle is 3°-4°, which increases the contact area of the steel wire ropes and prevents adjacent steel wires from rubbing against each other and improves the service life of the wire ropes.
