PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The Wire Rope Electric Winch is a powerful, compact pulling and lifting device designed for heavy‑duty horizontal pulling, inclined dragging, and vertical lifting applications. Unlike electric chain hoists which are optimized for vertical lifting, the wire rope electric winch excels at pulling loads across horizontal surfaces, up slopes, or in combination with sheaves for directional changes. It consists of an electric motor, a gearbox (planetary or worm), a drum, and a length of steel wire rope. The rope is wound onto the drum under power, providing high line pull capacities (from 0.5 tons to 50+ tons) and long rope lengths (up to several hundred meters).
APPLICATION
1. Construction Sites (Heavy Equipment Positioning)
Dragging Heavy Equipment: Pulling generators, compressors, welding machines, or material hoists across rough terrain or into position on upper floors.
Lifting Materials on Inclined Ramps: Using the winch to pull loaded wheelbarrows, concrete buckets, or steel beams up temporary ramps.
Pulling Formwork & Shoring: Retrieving heavy concrete formwork panels or shoring frames from pour areas.
2. Railway Yards & Locomotive Maintenance
Railcar Positioning: Pulling railcars (freight cars, passenger coaches) into maintenance bays or onto turntables without using a locomotive.
Wheel Set Extraction: Dragging heavy wheel sets (bogies) out from under railcars for repair.
Coupler Alignment: Pulling railcars together for coupling operations.
3. Shipyards & Marine Applications
Vessel Pulling onto Dry Dock: Using a winch (or multiple winches) to pull ships or barges onto syncrolifts or dry dock rails.
Launching Vessels: Controlled release of vessels during sideways or stern launching using a winch with a brake.
Moving Heavy Components: Dragging marine engines, propeller shafts, or rudders across the shipyard floor.
4. Mining & Quarrying
Dragging Conveyor Sections: Pulling heavy belt conveyor sections into alignment for installation or repair.
Moving Crusher Components: Dragging crusher jaws, mantle liners, or screen decks out of crusher houses.
Hauling Cables: Pulling heavy trailing cables or power cables through underground drifts.
5. Utility & Power Line Maintenance
Tensioning Power Lines: Pulling new conductor cables through transmission towers with controlled tension.
Stringing Fiber Optic Cables: Pulling lightweight but long fiber optic cables through underground conduits or overhead lines.
Pole & Tower Erection: Pulling utility poles or transmission towers into vertical position using a winch and guy lines.
6. Industrial Plants (Heavy Equipment Installation)
Pulling Machines into Place: Dragging heavy machinery (presses, mills, compressors) from delivery trucks onto shop floor foundations.
Roller Conveyor Installation: Pulling long sections of roller conveyor into alignment for bolting.
Tank & Vessel Positioning: Moving large storage tanks, pressure vessels, or reactors into position on foundations.
