PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The Low Headroom Type Wire Rope Electric Hoist is a specialized lifting device engineered for facilities where vertical clearance is limited but reliable, high-performance lifting is essential. Traditional hoists require significant space between the hook and the supporting beam or runway, reducing the usable lifting height. The low headroom design dramatically compresses this distance by integrating the hoist mechanism into the trolley and using a specially profiled or recessed girder, allowing the hook to approach within 200–400 mm of the beam. This maximizes the effective lifting height without requiring costly building modifications such as raising the roof, recessing beams, or relocating overhead utilities.
APPLICATION
1. Low‑Ceiling Warehouses & Storage Facilities
Mezzanine Underside Lifting: Installing hoists directly under mezzanine floors to serve storage or work areas without raising the mezzanine.
Bulk Storage Handling: Moving heavy containers, drums, or machinery parts in buildings with low roof trusses or ceiling obstructions (sprinklers, lights, ducts).
Historical Building Retrofits: Adding overhead lifting capacity to old factories or heritage buildings where roof raising is impossible or prohibitively expensive.
2. Manufacturing Facilities with Ductwork & Piping
Under HVAC Systems: Operating cranes beneath air conditioning ducts, sprinkler lines, or electrical busways without interference – the low headroom hoist fits in the gap.
Pipe Bridge Areas: Lifting equipment in areas congested with process piping, conduit, or cable trays where a standard hoist would hit the pipes.
Cleanroom Ceilings: Working in pharmaceutical or electronics cleanrooms where ceiling height is limited by filtration and lighting modules (often only 2.5–3 meters).
3. Automotive Repair & Service Bays
Parts Storage Mezzanines: Moving heavy parts (brake drums, axle housings, cylinder heads) from ground to mezzanine storage in low‑height areas.
Tire & Wheel Handling: Lifting large truck or bus tires for storage or mounting in low‑height service areas.
Maintenance Pits: Serving vehicle inspection pits where overhead space is shared with lighting, ventilation, and hydraulic lifts.
4. Basement & Underground Facilities
Subterranean Workshops: Lifting machinery, tooling, and materials in basements of industrial plants or power stations with ceiling heights of 2.5–3.5 meters.
Parking Garage Maintenance: Handling heavy equipment (ventilation fans, pumps, transformers) in underground parking structures with limited headroom.
Tunnel Construction Support: Providing lifting capability in tunnel boring machine (TBM) assembly or maintenance areas with very low overhead clearance.
5. Shipboard & Marine Applications
Deck Underhang Lifting: Mounting hoists beneath helicopter decks or upper decks for cargo or machinery handling in confined spaces.
Submarine Maintenance: Lifting components inside submarine maintenance facilities with very low overhead clearance
Offshore Platform Modules: Operating in cramped modules of offshore oil & gas platforms where headroom is scarce due to multiple decks and equipment.
6. Aerospace Hangars & Maintenance Facilities
Under Wing Lifting: Servicing aircraft in hangars where wing clearance limits crane height; low headroom hoists can work beneath wings without contacting the aircraft.
Nose Dock Areas: Lifting engine cowlings, landing gear components, or avionics in nose docks with low ceilings (often 3–4 meters).
Component Repair Shops: Handling heavy aerospace components (actuators, landing gear struts, brake assemblies) in low‑headroom repair cells.
