PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The Electric Double Girder Overhead Crane with Magnet is a heavy‑duty, high‑efficiency material handling system designed for the rapid and safe handling of ferrous materials – including steel plates, coils, billets, slabs, scrap metal, pig iron, and castings. Unlike hook‑based cranes, this crane is equipped with a powerful electromagnetic lifting system that allows instant pick‑up and release of magnetic loads without slings, chains, or manual rigging. The double girder construction provides exceptional stability, enabling wide spans, high lifting capacities, and precise load control even with heavy or irregularly shaped loads.
APPLICATION
1. Steel Service Centers – Plate & Sheet Handling
Storage & Retrieval: Lifting steel plates (up to 100+ mm thick) from storage racks and moving them to cutting tables (plasma, laser, shear).
Stacking & De‑stacking: Stacking plates in neat piles for inventory; retrieving specific plates from a stack without damaging surface finish.
Feeding Processing Lines: Transferring plates to straightening machines, shot blasters, or priming lines.
2. Steel Service Centers – Coil Handling
Coil Lifting: Using a circular magnet with a custom pole shoe to lift steel coils (hot‑rolled, cold‑rolled, galvanized) from storage cradles.
Coil Feeding: Moving coils to slitting lines, leveling lines, or blanking presses.
Coil Stacking: Stacking coils vertically or horizontally in storage yards.
3. Scrap Metal Recycling Yards
Scrap Loading: Lifting heavy scrap (shredded scrap, heavy melt, busheling) from piles and loading into railcars, trucks, or shipping containers.
Furnace Charging: Feeding scrap into electric arc furnaces (EAF) or induction furnaces for steelmaking.
Sorting & Grading: Moving scrap from one pile to another to separate ferrous from non‑ferrous or to grade by quality.
4. Steel Mills – Billet, Bloom & Slab Handling
Continuous Casting Output: Lifting hot billets, blooms, or slabs from the cooling bed and stacking them in storage yards.
Reheat Furnace Feeding: Transferring billets or slabs to the furnace charging table for rolling.
Inspection & Conditioning: Placing semi‑finished products on roller tables or inspection stations for surface grinding or scarfing.
5. Foundries – Pig Iron & Casting Handling
Pig Iron Loading: Lifting pig iron bundles from storage and feeding them into cupola or induction furnaces.
Casting Handling: Moving heavy castings (engine blocks, valve bodies, machine frames) from the shakeout area to cooling, cleaning, or machining lines.
Furnace Charging Buckets: Using the magnet to lift and tip charging buckets filled with scrap and alloys.
6. Ports & Terminals – Ferrous Bulk Cargo
Ship Unloading: Lifting iron ore pellets, pig iron, or steel scrap from ship holds directly onto conveyors or into trucks.
Stockpile Management: Stacking and reclaiming ferrous materials in open storage yards.
Railcar Loading/Unloading: Transferring bulk ferrous materials between railcars and storage.
