PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The MZ Grab Crane (Electric Traveling) is a specialized overhead or gantry crane designed for the efficient bulk handling of loose, granular, powdery, or lumpy materials using a motorized grab (clamshell bucket). Unlike standard hook cranes, the MZ crane is equipped with a grabbing mechanism that automatically opens, closes, lifts, and dumps materials such as coal, ore, sand, grain, fertilizer, and industrial waste. The “electric traveling” designation means both the bridge (or gantry) and the trolley are electrically driven, providing smooth, precise movement across the work area.

APPLICATION
1. Port & Terminal Bulk Cargo Handling Coal Unloading: Lifting coal from bulk carriers or barges and dumping into hoppers or onto stockpiles. Iron Ore Transfer: Moving iron ore from vessels to railcars or storage yards. Grain Handling: Loading/unloading wheat, corn, soybeans, or rice with a grain‑specific grab to minimize damage.

2. Power Plants (Coal & Biomass) Coal Yard Operations: Stacking and reclaiming coal from storage piles; feeding coal to crushers or boiler conveyors. Biomass Handling: Moving wood chips, pellets, or agricultural residues for co‑firing. Ash Handling: Removing fly ash or bottom ash from collection points to disposal containers.

3. Steel Mills & Foundries Raw Material Feeding: Moving coke, lime, dolomite, or fluorspar from storage bins to furnace charging areas. Scrap Handling (Light to Medium): Using a heavy‑duty grab to handle light scrap (e.g., turnings, shredded scrap) for charging. Slag Handling: Removing slag from furnaces or pits with a heat‑resistant grab.

4. Chemical & Fertilizer Plants Raw Material Unloading: Transferring bulk chemicals (soda ash, potash, urea, DAP) from railcars or trucks to storage. Product Loading: Loading finished fertilizers or chemical products into ships, barges, or railcars. Corrosive Material Handling: Using stainless steel or coated grabs for handling salts, acids (dry), or aggressive powders.

5. Cement & Building Materials Industry Clinker Handling: Moving cement clinker from storage to grinding mills. Gypsum Transfer: Handling gypsum for cement or wallboard production. Limestone & Clay: Feeding raw materials to crushers or mills.

6. Mining & Mineral Processing Ore Handling (Small to Medium Scale): Lifting copper, bauxite, manganese, or chrome ore from trucks or railcars to crushers. Concentrate Transfer: Moving mineral concentrates (copper, zinc, lead) from stockpiles to bagging or loading areas. Tailings Management: Transporting tailings for disposal or reprocessing with abrasion‑resistant grabs.
FEATURES
1
High Bulk Handling Efficiency: The grab cycle (open, close, lift, travel, dump) is fully automated and fast, achieving 20‑40 cycles per hour, far outpacing manual shoveling or front‑end loaders.
2
Versatile Material Compatibility: Adjustable grab jaws and closing force handle a wide range of materials – from fine powders (with dust‑tight grabs) to large lumps and even light scrap.
3
Electric Travel Precision: Frequency‑controlled drives on bridge and trolley provide smooth acceleration, precise positioning, and anti‑sway, allowing accurate dumping into narrow hoppers or conveyor chutes.
4
Low Operating Cost: Electric drives are more energy‑efficient and reliable than diesel‑hydraulic alternatives; no fuel costs, lower maintenance.
5
Reduced Labor & Manual Handling: Automates the repetitive task of bulk material movement, reducing the need for front‑end loaders, dozers, and manual shoveling.
6
High Duty Cycle Capability: Built for continuous operation (A6‑A8) – ideal for ports and power plants where the crane runs 24/7.
